Long item storage. Function and applications.

SCHMIDT paternosters, as pure long goods storage or as part of an automated fabrication cell in combination with automatic removal and, for example, an automatic lathe or saw. Storage and removal of long goods individually by hand or in bundles with an overhead crane or a forklift. Depending on the customer's needs, a loading system or a crane mounted on the paternoster frame for the loading of long goods can also be included. The type of control depends on the size and purpose of the system:

• Manual control (forward and backward motion using buttons)
• Preset control by entering a gondola number
• Selection of gondolas using a higher-level control system
